Found in the Chester Times 1883 July 3 Gold Pen Foley and his Nine Children in the Adirondack Diamond Point, Lake George, N.Y., July -1 John Foley and his nine children are here on their way to the Adirondacks. There are four girls and five boys. They are to remain in the mountas three months. Each of the boys has a rifle, a shotgun and lots of fishing tackle. The girls are armed with butterfly nets, books for pressing ferns and other paraphernalia. The party were brought to Lake George in a special car placed at Mr. Foley's disposal by Mr. Vanderbilt. |
