Youth of 18 takes Another's Wife, Watch and Fountain Pen

Delucco Says it's not Propper for a Gentleman to Be without a Fountain Pen.

 

Concluding a wild elopment with another man's wife whom he ran away about two months ago after, it is alleged, and robbing the owner of his boarding house of a gold watch and Waterman fountain pen, Joseph Delucco, 18, of 894 Maple Street, Hartford, returned to this city yesterday and was arrested by Detective John Garity on a charge of theft.

Delucco while in this city two months ago was living with Charles Grucci of 321 Willard Street, when Delucco started his romance with Grucci's wife, and after a short courtship they decided to elope. Delucco thought it wasn't propper for a gentleman to be without a gold watch and pen, so he took Grucci's he admitted.

Delucco is held at headquarters under bonds of $100 and will face a hearing in the City court this morning.
