Art Fountain Pen
All of the Adam pens that I have seen were celluloid pens with steel or plated nibs. The celluloid was always very colorful. Adams came in several different kinds of filling systems, including, lever fillers, eyedropper fillers, bulb fillers and even a postal filler. Some of the pens have very interesting nibs. The one pictured here had a horse shoe breather hole, much like the early Waterman eyedropper nibs of the 1880s. These pens are usually very lovely pens and fantastic writers. Several years back I bought the inventory of a stationary store that was closing. Among the pens were about 50 Adam pens, all nice and mint. Other than this small collection, I have only seen a few other Adams around. If you see one in good condition, grab it.
