Center Pen
Here is a rather rare and interesting fountain pen, a Japanese Center. I haven't found out much about this company other than that Center was located in Osaka Japan, and they started out making celluloid pens in the late 1930's. This pen dates to the late 1950's, so they survived at least that long. The pen's style is quite similar to Pilot's popular Super line of the 1950's What stands out about the pen pictured above is the hooded nib. The nib is a razor sharp extra fine point, but yet it is surprisingly smooth. It is rare to find such a smooth fine point nib. The nib also has a little flex to it so you can write calligraphy with it. Avery nice writer. The Pen Pictured below is an earlier Celluloid Center pen with a shiro nib. .
