Sackett Pen Co.

George Henry Sackett is an obscure fountain Pen maker, but an interesting one none the less. From 1855 to 1878 Sackett was a member of the jewelry company Sackett, Davis & Co of Providence, Rhode Island.

In several W. S. Hicks Advertisements, it is noted that Hicks was the sole manufacturer for the Sackett Pen.

Sackett plays a role in my book "The Pens that Made Mark Twain" which is nearly ready for publication.

The Images

I would like to eventually ad an image of a pen or an advertisement for each of the pen makers in the database. Obviously a herculian task. If you have an image to share, I would be happy to give you a link and credit.
