Dear Readers,

I am still a little sick, but better than before. I sat up and made myself some miso soup. The only good thing about being sick is that I lost a little weight.

As I feared, my plants were wilted. I watered them and hopefully they will recover before I do.

Ron-san, Ren and Keiko visited me this morning as they were going out antique hunting. This was embarrasment for me. I haven't washed my hair in a long time. One nice condition, they are both, Ron and Keiko, are medical doctors and they brought me some more medicine, and I feel better already.

It is an intersting point about being sick. It makes me realize how precious our health is to us. We never think about our good health until we lost it.

I am nearly out of ink now. Not because I have been writing that much. No, I spilled half a bottle of ink on my table. What a mess. I had fastened the lid onto the bottle too tight, and when I tried to pry it open it the lid let go with a jerk. Half of the bottle flew up into the air and onto my hand and table. I tried to clean it up as quickly as I could, but my hand is still Florida Blue.

Sincerely

Meg.
