Dear Readers,

Last night I went to Junko's birthday party. She is now 25. We had a lot of fun and went to sing karaoke. Junko is very talanted at karaoke.

During the evening we talked about our jobs. Junko and several of my other friends work in a resort hotels. For a young girl in Okinawa, this is a very nice job. All of us were English majors at the university, and they are happy to use their English with the foreign tourists.Nana works in a bank and makes more money, but she hates the work. She says all the men working there are real "tsukebe" That sounds terrible.

My friends seem to think I have the best job. I do not make a lot of money (please send Ron-san an e-mail and suggest I receive a payment increase) but my hours are very flexible and I can do much of the work from my apartment.

For this job I have studied HTML. It isn't as difficult as I imagined it would be. I have Dreamweaver Software, and this makes it even easier. My friends are very impressed with my webpages.

Now I am starting to study Photoshop. Currently, Ron-san does all the photography and simply e-mails me the images and then I use them in the HTML. Soon, I hope to do the photography too. Then my friends will be very impressed.

Sincerely,

Meg.
