Dear Readers,

Last nigh Ron-san came over to my apartment and fixed my computer so I could connect to the internet. I was slightly embarrased by how quickly he fixed the problem. I have been studying computer technology constently since I took this job, because I feel it is a very important part of my future. I am also very competitive, so I felt a little defeated when I needed to ask for help. I felt even more defeated when he fixed the computer so quickly. I guess I will need to study more.

I was excited to see Ron-san's new find. A Pilot maki-e pen, signed by Ei, but with a very unusual filling system. This was serrindipity. When he bought the pen, he assumed it was the common eyedropper style pen. I wish I could have been here when the pen arrived.
