Paul E. Wirt Estate is Left to Family

Requests to members of his family comprise the will of Paul E. Wirt, inventor of the fountain pen, whose death occured early last week, and whose will was probated Friday.

A nominal value of "$5,000 and upwards" was placed on the estate. The will gives $10,000 and his personal property to his daughter, Mrs. Pauline Roche; $5,000 and 232 shares of Bloomsburg Water Company stock to his granddaughter, Sara Wirt Lane; $500 to his sister Martha Bloom; $1,000 to his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Elizabeth Wirt; $200 to Mrs. Martha Poe, and the remainder of the estate to his daughter, Mrs. Roche, who was named executrix.

The Will also provided $500 for a brother, William W. Wirt, but in the event of the brother's death to be ineffective. William Wirt died only a week or two before Paul Wirt.

The Will was made April 1, 1931 and was witnessed by Mary Bowman, Mrs. Imogene Bell and H. Mont Smith.
