| Here is 1970's Masterpiece. A Pilot Delux with a Pagoda in cherry blossoms The pen uses many complicated techniques such as shishiai-togidashi maki-e and gyobu nashiji. The level of detail is simply stunning. The effects work together to creat the illusion of depth. The pen is heavy with gold dust. The pen is in mint conditoin and still has the original price tag.
The design is a five story pagoda in the background viewed through chrerry tree blossums. The artist of this work is Sei Katsuta. He was born in1920 and graduated from the Tokyo Industrial school of Arts in 1939. He studied under his father, Master artist, Seisho Katsuta.
